Matt, Owner/Custom Tattoo Artist
Matt is the element that has made Spectrum what it is today, his hard work, and undying motivation have impacted the local area. He is an award winning Synthism Tattoo Artist (the combination of Nu Skool, Neo-tradional & Realism). He has several years under his belt, and a heavy background in several other forms of art. His custom artwork is full of color and attitude. Matt is looking to add some awards to his shelf, if you've got a great idea, that's award worthy, he may give you a tremendous deal.
Matt's golden reputation makes it difficult to get an appointment with him sometimes, so make sure you set up a consultation well ahead of time. When you sit down to get a tattoo from Matt, you may notice his equipment is a little different, as he is making a transition over to Neumas. Neumas are an air powered tattoo machine, with a lighter impact, making it possible for better color blending, and longer sessions. Pneumatic machines fit Matt's style perfectly.
Ken, Walk-in Tattooist
Ken has been tattooing for 23 years, his dedication and love for this industry is unsurpassed. His warm personality attracts clients of all ages, which works well for his well rounded tattoo abilities. He is licensed to tattoo in 4 states, which says a lot considering NY doesn't have very strict guidelines.
If you're looking to get a tattoo done right now or off a page of flash, Ken is the tattooist for the job. Ken doesn't do a whole lot of drawing, but he can take on custom projects. He enjoys tattooing traditional Japanese art above anything else, and is more than capable of doing anything out of the books.
Ken networks like no other, he can carry a conversation with anyone, and has made many friends over the years. Now his biggest goal at conventions and expos, is getting Matt's artwork noticed, as he wants nothing more than to see to it that Matt becomes one of the industry's most sought after artists.

Ericka, Custom Tattoo Artist
As a black and gray portrait artist, Ericka makes herself a very welcome addition to the Spectrum staff. After attending F.I.T. and the Institute of Design and construction (majoring in Fine Arts and Architectural Technology) she apprenticed in Connecticut. After six years in the industry she finally pushed herself to do what she always wanted to within her artwork...portraits. Now at Spectrum, she finds herself at the top of the portrait game, with very few challengers.
"I feel the most rewarding things in my career are the friendships forged, and the clients that have become friends. Representing more flattering than someone happily and permanently wearing your art" Ericka has said. With a positive outlook like that, its hard to not feel comfortable when sitting in Ericka's chair.

Nic, Tattoo Apprentice
Nic is the newest recruit to the Spectrum line up. He has been drawing and painting in various mediums for about 6 years. He has only begun to develop a prominent style in his artwork as he has finally decided to take this trade more seriously. This consists of a variety of influences. His traditional or classical influenced background combines with unique ideas and styles to create something of his own. Nic decisively chose Spectrum as the place to continue his art career to work with Matt on building this foundation. Nic's art work and attitude are showing potential for high demand. With time, and Ken's unparalleled support for up and coming artists, Nic's continual hard work will develop into a worthy addition to the Spectrum Dermagraphic's staff.
